Nscale.org Scratchbuild competition
VOTING HAS ENDED !

and the winners are......

Gold Medal Klynkp

Silver Medal COandW

Bronze Medal Fifer

Congratulations to the winners and be ready for new contest: Pictures Contest March 2010

This time we like to test your skills in creating a simple structure for your layout. Because results might differ very much we would like everyone to have the same starting point. For this reason, we have decided to make you build the B&O office designed by our own member Gary (Gary60). You will find the structure here:

http://www.nscale.org/forum/showthread.php?t=19397

What exact materials, colouring, weathering etc. you use is your choice: You could make it like a brick building, corrugated steel, sand stones, whatever you like. The roofing material is completely your choice as well, as are the look, type and size of doors and windows. We just want you to make the building to the same shape and measurements envisaged by Gary. You can accesorize your building as you want, with graffiti, posters, plants, even figures
BUT if it doesn't stick to the building, we don't want it.

We are putting this rule in, not because we want to limit your creativity, but because we want to focus your work, and because we want to make it easy for everyone to participate in this competition, and not put those at advantage who have a layout. Remember, true creativity comes out of restriction.

Take a closeup picture of your building, on a table, filling the entire photo frame. No layout, no locos or other accessories next to it, just the building.

Upload your entry (as per usual, maximum 3 pictures, votes get added if the subject of the photo is the same) until close of the day February 7th, Hawaiian time, when voting will start. One week later, on February 14th, by the end of the day, Hawaiian time, voting will be locked, and the winners will be announced shortly afterwards.

Good luck to all (and please read through this again before submitting!)

Cheers,
Colonel
