May 10, 1869, Promontory Point Diorama

After collecting items to be used for some time, I am finally getting around, to starting construction of a N gauge diorama of, May 10, 1869, Promontory Point. Attached is photo of cardboard mockup used for determining dimensions of display box to be constructed, populous being painted and actual photo being modeled.

11-05-08 This morning I threw together a couple short bed flat cars, one for each locomotive in diorama.

11-09-08 Photo update of cardboard mockup.
