I guess its time to bump up this thread. On and off i have been working on a plan that i like and simple. I didn't like the tunnel for the logging track. I wanted the track to have a less rise in the elevation. I wanted to have the board longer while keeping the width at 3.0 feet. I settled to 76 inches. I moved the logging camp to the other side of the layout. Nothing on the right side but a large cut off the mountain so i can give the track up out of the tunnel. A couple of shots below. Its simple for sure but i cannot buy more stuff for now. Too many irons in the fire right now. Deb is giving me flak as she wants to be able to use the table. I think i have a work around as the mountains will be lower in height. I can build up a framework for the layout to sit on and give her enough room to use the table.
Anyway here are shots of the plan for now.
