Forum software

I saw the post about looking for new forum software, and I have a few questions / comments.

First, what content management system is being used for this site? Second what forum software is compatible with the C M S software? Next, what forum software is currently being used?

Also, what type of forum software can be used with the server? Can we use php, C G I scripts, etc., and what database is being used as the back end?

I know Sergio would like to see hacker proof software, but we both know such a thing does not exist. No matter which software is used any security patches need to be applied immediately when they're released. I hope Sergio will allow someone else to have administrator rights to ensure this happens. This is the voice of experience speaking, as I have run three different forums in the past.

The software I finally settled on was phpBB2. what I learned was that they released security patches faster than other forum software, and that community members would often catch the security holes before hackers ever even saw them.

Good luck on your search, let mean know if I can be of any help.
