Question Easier To Run, Passenger Or Freight Cars

Now that the Seattle and North Western has a complete track loop, it's time to test the entire layout, see where the hiccups are........ tons of them, in-fact I haven't had train with more than 4 freight cars make it around without derails of some sort, releases of loads (you should see how fast 10 coalporters cane run down a 3% incline after the loco drops them).
I have just tried my UP F3A and B unit with 5 passenger cars behind, and it did the entire track with only one clearance problem through a tunnel (easy fix).

For some reason I thought passenger cars were going to be harder than freight. What's been your experience(s)?
