Atlas Heavyweight passenger cars

Hi All, I am trying to put together a PRR heavyweight train using Atlas cars and it seems that Atlas only made combine/RPO, Pullman, diner, and observation cars. I can't believe they didn't produce a coach, The only Pullman I've found is the "James Logan". Did they make any others? Your comments appreciated. Regards, Dave L.

I've since discovered a full baggage car, too, but not Atlas but Rivarossi. Anyone know source that lists/shows all cars in the series? Regards, Dave L.

there was also a two door REA baggage

for the chair car, the Lima HW coach is a perfect fit.

I have some of the Lima coaches. I still find it hard to believe they never made a coach and only Pullmans. Oh well. Thanks, Dave L.

Well, I just found some Rivarossi coaches on E-bay, although lettered for Union Pacific. I guess Atlas never included them in their PRR series. My search did not turn up any coaches in PRR, but now I know there are coaches. I wonder where the dies are for all these cars. Still in Con-Cor hands??? Dave L.

I just found a photo of a Rivarossi coach, but I think Atlas never offered the full baggage or coach. The Rivarossi car was lettered Union Pacific. I can't find out if Rivarossi offered the cars in PRR. Anyone know? Thanks, Dave L.

Info on available road names doesn't seem to be provided. It is a great source, though. I still don't know if a PRR coach was ever available. Thanks, Dave L.

Haven't been on here much, but the Atlas (made by Rivarossi) was limited to these examples:

2621 PRR Heavyweight Pullman Tuscan Red (Brown)/Yellow "James Logan"
2622 PRR 342 Heavyweight Combine Tuscan Red (Brown)/Yellow
"The Pennsylvania Limited - New York Chicago"
2623 PRR 1184 Heavyweight Diner Tuscan Red (Brown)/Yellow
2624 PRR 4496 Heavyweight Observation Tuscan Red (Brown)/Yellow "Pullman"

http://www.irwinsjournal.com/a1g/

Rivarossi also made the coach and Full Baggage as described, and these were also sold by Con Cor.

One example listing is from a shop I use here in the UK: https://www.hattons.co.uk/331316/Riv...ockDetail.aspx

I know they exist I have five of them.

Thanks! Now I know the PRR coaches do exist; they must be very rare here in the states as I have never seen one ever! Thanks, Dennis. Dave L.

I managed to find the observation, Pullman (James Logan), and diner today at a train show. I have five of the six types. Still looking for those coaches! Regards, Dave

The Lima coach needs new trucks, but is a prototype for the PRR P70 series coach

Found two in Union Pacific, and one in Southern Pacific. If not already doing it, you'll need to search for "Con Cor" or "Rivarossi" though (I found mine in a standing "Rivarossi heavyweight coach N" search).

Thanks, Dennis and Ike, for your help. I am having trouble adding posts sometimes to thank you guys. I know Atlas never offered the coaches. Regards, Dave L.
